Lady Gaga's alter ego Jo Calderone was once again in the spotlight at the 2011 MTV VMAs, this time to present Britney Spears with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Calderone said he used to hang Britney's posters on his wall and touch himself when looking at them while he was a struggling, starving artist in New York City. Calderone was clearly not concerned with the censors, as he dropped more than a few "eff" bombs during his introduction of Brit Brit.

Before Brit came on stage to accept the award, dancers paid tribute to her most famous videos as part of a live, in-the-flesh montage. The dancers performed a medley of moves from Spears' career, ranging from '...Baby One More Time' to 'Oops I Did It Again' to 'Hold It Against Me.' The dancers also donned Brit's outfits from the videos, such as her iconic school girl uniform and that still-hot red latex catsuit.

After the montage, Calderone demanded "everybody stand the f--- up" for Brit Brit. The two shared a brief, polite kiss when Calderone presented the singer with the award -- and for a moment, there was some intense eye flirting. It appeared as though they were going to make out. But Brit didn't pull the same 2003 VMAs stunt where she made out with Madonna. Spears even joked "I've done that already" when it appeared as though Calderone was coming in for the kill. She doesn't do repeats, apparently, even when it's someone as hot as Jo Calderone.

Calderone then backed off, saying he didn't want Gaga to be pissed if he kissed someone else.

Brit gave a giggly speech about how much the award meant to her and then she and Jo Calderone announced Beyonce's performance. Calderone even called Beyonce a beautiful soul.
