Joe Jonas Celebrates Birthday in Sin City

Happy birthday to Joe Jonas. The singer turns 22 today, but he spent the weekend celebrating in style in Las Vegas, reports PEOPLE. He got a head start on the festivities, and who could blame him.

The party rolled out on Saturday, Aug. 13, behind the velvet rope in the VIP area at the Liquid Pool Lounge, were the double J hung with pals. The fun quickly migrated over to the Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant and Lounge at the Bellagio Hotel. After dining with pals, things moved to the Deuce Lounge, where a game of blackjack ensued. It's good to be a 22-year-old, rich, famous and hot pop star, isn't it?

But Jonas wasn't just having mindless birthday fun or acting like an egomaniacal celeb. That is so not his style. Instead, he actually closed out the night by performing at Haze. He was the recipient of a surprise birthday cake in the shape of a keyboard, too!

Sources told PEOPLE that Jonas was "swarmed by nearly 20 female fans dying to get an autograph or photo with (him). After signing a few autographs and meeting with fans, Joe finally made it to Haze Nightclub where he rocked the crowd with a special live set, performing tracks off of his debut solo album 'FastLife.'"

The source continued: "Joe was completely surprised when he was presented with a specialty pre-birthday cake in the shape of a bright-colored keyboard. Partygoers were holding up sparklers and shooting confetti into the air while toasting Joe to another successful year."

It's very good to be Joe Jonas, who will release "FastLife' on Oct. 11.

On top of all the birthday fun, Jonas' parents celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary today, which Papa Jonas tweeted about: "Happy Anniversary to my wife of 26 years @DeniseJonas AND Happy 22nd Birthday to my son @joejonas."

Aug. 15 is an important day in the Jonas Family history.
