John Mayer + Katy Perry Get Goofy at President Obama’s Inauguration Ceremony

Cute couple alert! John Mayer joined his lovely lady friend, Katy Perry, to see President Obama be sworn in for his second term.

The couple each rocked shades and winter gear. Perry wore a striped rust and black coat with a shearling lining, combining coziness and style, while Mayer wore classic black over his suit, which included an understated but elegant pale blue tie. Perry topped her look with a floppy black hat, which gave her more of a "ladies who lunch" look.

It was a nice step up for the couple, who often go out together looking a little worse for wear.

Perry and Mayer engaged in some cute PDA, too. Cameras caught the pair snapping photos of one another, and Perry pinned her "tiny Aretha hat" -- an homage to the Queen of Soul's infamous headpiece from Obama's first inaugural ceremony -- onto Mayer's mug.

Mayer also joined Perry at her performance for the Kids Inaugural Concert on Saturday night (Jan. 19). The guitar-strumming duo posed for photos backstage with the adorable Mindless Behavior -- which really showed how tiny those guys are. Too. Cute.
