By now, you're likely already familiar with the saga of the ever-inspiring, ever-enduring JoJo, but it bears repeating.

The record-breaking teen pop sensation busted on the scene in the early '00s, armed with heaven-sent vocal chops and still-classic bops like "Leave (Get Out)" and "Too Little Too Late."

But almost as quickly, she was nearly silenced — aside from dropping a few fire unofficial mixtapes over the years — after years and years of legal battles with her ex-record label.

Jo broke free at long last, inking a deal with Atlantic Records and releasing III, her more-than-welcome return of a warm-up "tringle," almost exactly one year ago.

But now it's really time to get this show on the (high) road again.

Today (July 28), JoJo announced the release of her forthcoming studio album Mad Love due out on October 14, her third studio album overall and first full-length major label release since 2006's The High Road.

And, to kick it all off, she's (deservedly) throwing her middle fingers up with the help of Wiz Khalifa on the album's empowering lead single, "F--k Apologies." (The song's hitting radio in August, and according to Jo herself, will have a clean version called "No Apologies.")

In classic JoJo form, the melodic kiss-off is equal parts grown and gritty.

"Honestly, I was just about to pick up the phone / And then I realized that I did nothing wrong," she proclaims above a chilly, finger-snapping pulse, peppered by prickly strings vaguely recalling Gotye's bitter "Somebody That I Used To Know."

"F--k apologies / I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it."

Along with the song's release, Jo's gone and given us an accompanying visual directed by Francesco Carrozzini, of Beyoncé ("Jealous") and Lana Del Rey ("Ultraviolence") fame. Not only is the singer herself thoroughly #unapologetic throughout, including a searingly sexy pool scene (dayum, Jo), but she's joined by a cast of equally empowered individuals (and Wiz!) living their truths.

Mad Love will include production by Oscar Holter, Whisky Water and "Good For You" smash hit-maker Justin Tranter. But most importantly of all, it's actually coming.

Jo's also heading out on tour for the duration of the summer alongside Fifth Harmony, as well as a few solo festival dates. Check out the dates below, and find tickets for a show near you.
