Jordin Sparks Plays a Video Vixen in ‘Double Tap’

Jordin Sparks and 2 Chainz just released the video for "Double Tap," and both the song and clip perfectly sum up what it's like to date in this digital age.

The song's lyrics are all about social media, sexy selfies and virtual cheating. The video takes advantage of the theme with cinematography made to look like it was shot with a smartphone. Jordin shows off her amazing body through the video, revealing a toned midsection while primping, lounging in bed, dancing at a party and (of course) taking selfies. 2 Chainz shows up about halfway through the video and dances at the center of the crowd.

In case you missed it, "double tap" is a double entendre — references to, you know, getting down to business and to double-tapping the screen to "Like" a photo on Instagram.

"Double Tap" marks a sexier direction than we've ever seen Jordin take with her music. The Season 6 American Idol winner has always had an enviable set of pipes but this may be the first time we've seen her step into the role of video vixen.

Maybe her recent split from longtime boyfriend Jason Derulo is behind the sudden change, but whatever the reason, Jordin's new vibe is definitely working for her.
