It's been three years since Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown blasted the airwaves with their Grammy-winning hit single, 'No Air' -- and Sparks says she'd jump at the chance to work with Brown again.

Although Brown tends to get a bad rap from the media -- following his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 -- Sparks had nothing but good things to say about her experience working with him. "I love Chris, I think he’s amazing. He was such a gentleman, he was bouncing off the walls," she tells CNN's Marquee Blog.

The 21-year-old American Idol winner added that she thinks Brown -- and everyone -- deserves a second chance. "I know people are very critical, but I think he’s really trying and he’s getting there. He’s doing things that he says he’s going to do," she adds. "I think everyone deserves second chances. I’d love to work with him again."

Sparks is currently working on her third studio album.
