Top 24 contestant Joshua Ledet absolutely killed it on 'American Idol' tonight as he brought all the judges to their feet in a standing ovation after singing ‘You Pulled Me Through’ by American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson.

Ledet sang the song perfectly with a touch of both gospel and R&B and when the cameras caught a glimpse of Jennifer Lopez during his performance it looked as though she was either going to cry or start praising the lord.

When they cut to the judges panel, instead of sticking with her introductory statement of “You are just amazing” Lopez continued, “I don’t even know what to say. I just want to punch you in the face.” While Randy Jackson didn’t follow up by saying Ledet was so good he wanted to kick him in the teeth, he did ask “Can I get an Amen in here?” which got the audience and Ms. Lopez into a frenzy all over again. Steven Tyler, while impressed, agreed with a more subdued report: “This is the voice the world’s been waiting to hear. I cannot believe where you just went.”

Nicknamed ‘Mantasia’ by fans (we’re guessing the male equivalent to 2004 American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino), there’s not a chance this performance won’t ‘pull him through’ the eliminations round.
