Justin Timberlake is having a smashing good week! It is being projected that his latest release, 'The 20/20 Experience,' is expected to sell 1 million copies in its first week in stores. Who said nobody buys music anymore?

It was originally predicted that JT's first release in seven years would sell about 800,000 units (via Ace Showbiz), but as the tracking week is drawing to a close, the numbers have jumped and it looks as though 'The 20/20 Experience' will have sold between 950,000 to 975,000 copies.

According to Billboard, the album will definitely appear in the top spot of their 200 album chart with this monster week of sales. It is also totally possible '20/20' could sell 1 million copies, though industry sources are reluctant to project that number at the moment.

Even if JT hits the 1 million sales mark, he'll still be playing second fiddle to Taylor Swift. Her album 'Red' sold 1.2 million copies in its first week after its release in October of last year. However, if Timberlake can, in fact, sell 975,000 copies of 'The 20/20 Experience,' he will have set a new record for best album sales by a male since Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' sold 964,000 copies in 2011.

Either way, JT has surely proved his selling power! We send him huge congratulations on his amazing milestone!
