Even though Justin Bieber released his Christmas album 'Under the Mistletoe' in November 2011, he's already gearing up to drop his third studio album in 2012. In the latter portion of 2011, Bieber began to leak tidbits about the recording process of his new album and the featured artists who will appear on the LP.

Back in November, Bieber spoke to AMP Radio about his 2012 album 'Believe.' For the album, which could hit retailers as early as February or March 2012 (spring and summer release dates have also been rumored), Bieber is looking to Justin Timberlake for inspiration.

The teen heartthrob is looking to create something "different" with 'Believe,' saying, "I want to step out of my comfort zone but I don’t want to go too left, where people aren’t going to get it and think ... I want to keep me and step over here and try some other stuff. Like how Justin Timberlake did 'FutureSex/LoveSounds.’ I want to make something different like that. Not like him, but do my own thing."

Bieber is also trying his hand at songwriting for 'Believe.' "He's pretty adamant about writing a lot of [the album]," Bieber's manager Scooter Braun told Billboard. "And he played me some stuff that he's been doing on his own. He wrote this amazing song that sounds like a Jodeci record. I'm really excited for him. This kid can sing his a--- off. He's coming into his own."

In addition to writing his own tracks, Bieber is also recruiting plenty of talented artists to be featured on 'Believe.' According to MTV's Rap Fix, the Biebs is collaborating Drake and Kanye West for his upcoming project. "I’m working with a lot of cool people," Bieber said. "I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists."

In addition to Yeezy and Drizzy, Bieber will also reportedly be collaborating with producers Kevin Cossom, Bangladesh and Danja. Cossom has worked with Joe Jonas, Keri Hilson and Chris Brown in the past, while Bangladesh is known for his collaborations with Lil Wayne ('6 Foot 7 Foot') and Rihanna ('Talk That Talk' LP). Danja is also an accomplished hip-hop/pop producer, working with Usher, T.I., Britney Spears, Pink and many more.

While performing on his 'Home for the Holidays' special in Canada, Justin Bieber performed a new song called 'Be Alright.' Since this tune hasn't appeared on any of his past albums, we're thinking this one may appear on his 2012 'Believe' album, although we cannot confirm this.

It sounds like Justin Bieber's 2012 album release will be his biggest and baddest LP to date! We can't wait to hear some of the tracks. Stay tuned with PopCrush for more details on 'Believe.'
