That new acoustic Justin Bieber album is coming out way sooner than everyone expected. The Biebs stopped by 'Ellen' to announce the record will be coming out next month, January 2013!

Bieber said the album is a return to his roots. “It’s something I think the fans really like,” he said, “because I started out on YouTube, just playing my guitar and singing without all the production and stuff. I like to put out acoustic albums. I think it's more intimate."

The exact date and album title have yet to be revealed, but he hinted that it might be called 'Believe Acoustic.' Keep an eye on Bieber's Twitter feed, because he's been dropping hints about the album and posting photos from the studio over the past few days.

Bieber has been playing songs like 'As Long As You Love Me' acoustic in various TV and concert appearances, so Beliebers are already used to hearing stripped-down performances of hits from his 'Believe' album. This will be the singer's second acoustic effort. In 2010, Bieber issued 'My Worlds Acoustic,' which featured re-recorded versions of tracks from his first two albums.

Bieber also chatted with Ellen about being snubbed by the Grammys, saying that he's not too broken up about being left out. "It's definitely something that I was looking forward to, but I know that it'll happen one day," he said.
