Justin Bieber was not stoked about the James Franco parody of his 'Boyfriend' video, which also featured his friend (and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez's 'Spring Breakers' co-star) Ashley Benson.

Gosh, that's a tangled Young Hollywood web, isn't it?

Franco, who also appears in the soon-to-be-released film, shot their send up of the vid, posted it online and Le Biebs was none too happy. Like Taylor Swift with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the singer has no sense of humor about that kind of thing and doesn’t want to be the butt of the joke.

Benson said she didn't hear from Gomez about the parody, but she got an earful from Biebs.

"People thought that I was being mean, but I was just doing what the girl did in the video. It wasn't a jab at her," Benson told Seventeen. "But I heard from Justin. He wasn't happy. Justin is like my little brother since he and my ex are so close. Anytime you go through a breakup, the friends get defensive. But all is well in that area now."

Benson dated his swag coach Ryan Good. Yes, he had a swagger coach. Swag, swag, swag is not innate; it is learned. But maybe Biebs' ire over the clip had nothing to do with Good and he just didn't like his song being clowned on. That's entirely possible.

Franco himself said he thought the Biebs was sore over the clip.

We're going to borrow a phrase from Ducky in 'Pretty in Pink' here and apply it to the Biebs in this situation: "It's called a sense of humor. You should get one. They're nice."
