Justin Bieber Is Amazed to Win Billboard Award for Top New Artist
Winning the Billboard Award for Top New Artist is amazing -- just ask Justin Bieber, who had a hard time collecting his thoughts after taking the award tonight.
After giving girlfriend Selena Gomez a smooch, Bieber took to the stage and seemed nearly speechless at first. He composed himself and offered a speech that used the word "amazing" at least five times.
Besides thanking God, his mom, and his fans, Bieber said he considers himself very lucky to be a pop star. "Every day is crazy to me because I get to make so many people smile and make so many people happy," he said.
The award was the second of the evening for the teen star, who captured Digital Artist of the Year earlier. Bieber beat out Kesha, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars to win Top New Artist.
