Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ Covered by President Obama
President Obama gets his swag on in a new cover of Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend,' which features the leader of the free world singing about "Chillin' by the fire while we eatin’ fondue." It's not a legit cover, of course - dozens of video clips of Obama's speeches have been edited together to make it seem as if the president is performing the Bieber track.
YouTube user baracksdubs has pulled off this trick in the past, making it appear as though Obama covered Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way,' Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe,' and LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It.' 'Boyfriend' might be the most coolest Obama fake cover yet, given some of the words he's uttering.
Obama delivers the entire spoken verse of the Bieber hit, saying, "If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go / I can take you places you ain't never been before / Baby, take a chance or you’ll never ever know / I got money in my hands that I’d really like to blow / Swag, swag, swag, on you / Chillin' by the fire while we eatin’ fondue / I don't know about me but I know about you / So say hello to falsetto in three, two, swag."
The president has been known to sing popular songs from time to time, but we doubt he'll ever sing 'Boyfriend' for real, so here's the next best thing.
