Justin Bieber ‘Boyfriend’ Video Co-Star is Married (And Therefore Not a Threat to Selena Gomez)

Justin Bieber woos a beautiful brunette in his 'Boyfriend' video, with many fans commenting on her physical similarities to his real life GF Selena Gomez. Gomez and Beliebers needn't worry about the actress, Rachel Barnes, swooping in like Bieber bangs and stealing their man. Turns out, Barnes is married and therefore not a threat to Gomez. In theory, at least.

In what can amount to a pre-emptive strike and a move to curry favor with the ardent Bieber fanbase, Barnes shared her relationship status, since Beliebers tend verbally and digitally attack anyone or anything they perceive as a threat to them or their hero, which is one of the pros and cons of a young fan base. They are digitally minded and reachable, but can resort to online terror.

Barnes told TMZ that she is off the market and that the chemistry the two exhibited in the sexy vid was "only for work" and did not spill over into real life.

"Justin and Selena are adorably inseparable and I, myself, am already married," Barnes said. She declared, "I'm a Belieber, but he's not my boyfriend."

Barnes also mentioned that the Beliebers haven't put a bounty on her head yet, saying, "It's been great to be a part of the Bieber madness ... even if only for a song."

There you have it, Beliebers and Justin-Selena supporters. Barnes is married. We'll play devil's advocate and mention that Jennifer Aniston probably thought the same thing about Brad Pitt when he stepped on the 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' set with Angelina Jolie. And you know how that went.

We kid, we kid. Biebs and Sel are rock solid, and so are Barnes and her man. Maybe they can double date.
