It takes a big man to admit he's frugal, and that's just what Justin Bieber did. He told an interviewer that he still inspects clothing price tags and called himself "cheap."

The Biebs, who covered Forbes as one of the richest teens in show business last year, admitted that despite raking in the cash, he is careful about how he spends his money.

In a chat with Top of the Pops (quotes via Entertainment Wise), the 'Boyfriend' singer (and object of affection of millions of Beliebers) said that he no longer has an allowance but that he isn't wasteful.

The spendthrift said, "Normally I make good, sound decisions. You don't have to worry about me. My parents trust me. I don't have an allowance anymore, which is good."

Yeah, well it's easy for Pattie Mallette and Jeremy Bieber to keep their eyes on their son since his every moved is documented on Twitter or tracked by paparazzi. The tragic death of a pap who was chasing JB was all over the news this week.

Regarding his finances, he said, "I don't have access to all my money, but I have a bank account so I can get money out."

He's used to being frugal since he was raised without much money, which is why he donates to the local food bank in his native city in Ontario. "I grew up without much money, so now that I don't have to look at the bill when I buy dinner, it's cool," he said. "I still look at the price tags on clothes though. I'm still cheap like that."

It's actually to The Biebs' credit that he doesn't just throw money around because he can.
