Justin Bieber’s DNA Test Results for Paternity Case Are MIA
This story just won't die. Justin Bieber, who stoked the fires of the Mariah Yeater paternity case by writing a song about it and by mentioning it in every major (and not to mention, rare) interview that he does, has another headache on his hands regarding that drama.
Yeater insisted that The Biebs fathered her son Tristyn, now 15 months, after a tryst (or in her eyes, a "Tristyn") in the Staples Center bathroom, which is ironic since that's actually where The Biebs held a date night with Selena Gomez, renting the place out and watching 'Titanic' with her.
Leving said, "I have not seen [Bieber’s] DNA test results or had them scrutinized. If there was a first test, and I have no documentation to say there even was, I wasn’t provided with the results. I have not had my demands for an independent DNA test carried out by Mr. Bieber."
So Maury Povich can put a lid on saying, "Justin, you are NOT the father," for a hot minute.
Yeater filed the papers a year ago. A few weeks later, she withdrew, looking to settle out of court. Leving said they were asking Biebs to do a confidential DNA test. The Biebs went on 'The View' to say he took the test. Leving would not further discuss any communication he has had with The Biebs' legal eagles. He also would not say if he was preparing new litigation for his client. His only proclamation?
Bieber "is either the father or he isn’t. And if he is then he needs to step up to the plate and pay child custody."
A Yeater source says the mom (or gold digger, depending on your perspective) would like to see The BIebs involved in "their" son's life, but she also wants closure, since Beliebers have taken to threatening her life. "For the last year, she has been the victim of death threats, derision and distasteful treatment,” said the source. "Being a single mom is tough enough without being caught up in one of the biggest scandals in pop music."
Well, she did bring it on herself...
