Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato have been disputing claims of an upcoming duet, but now the Biebs' manager, Scooter Braun, is teasing fans about a possible collaboration.

"Listening to this @ddlovato album now. so much emotion in the voice," he tweeted. "Well done! maybe there is a duet in here. #remix."

However, in August, both Bieber and the 'Skyscraper' singer refuted claims of a collaboration. Lovato told Latina.com: "I don't know where the Justin Bieber rumor got started, but that one is not true."

Perhaps the two stars were attempting to divert attention from a work-in-progress, or the idea truly came to Braun last week. With his strategic management style, however, we doubt anything just happens to come about.

Beliebers will have to wait to see if a duet is in store, but Lovato isn't ruling out a collaboration with her BFF and Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez. The singer added, "As for doing a song with Selena, I would love to do one in the future!"

Bieber is currently working on his highly anticipated Christmas album, which is set to feature songs with Taylor Swift, Usher, Boyz II Men and Sean Kingston. Whether Lovato ends up on the final track listing remains to be seen.
