You're a day too late, Justin Bieber.

The recent Comedy Central roastee appeared on air with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday (April 2) to announce that he'll be performing at 2015's Wango Tango. And when the radio host tweeted at the singer, Justin replied by dropping a major bomb.

But before you start imagining how epic a "What Makes You Beautiful"/"Boyfriend" mashup would be, you should know this: Justin's manager Scooter Braun quickly crushed any rumors.

Looks like Justin won't be replacing Zayn Malik anytime soon. (And for the record, no one will.)

One thing Justin wasn't joking about during his radio announcement? Selena Gomez. When Ryan asked Justin if he would write a musical response to Selena's song "The Heart Wants What It Wants," Justin said no, but he did concede that Selena's influence is present in his music. "A lot of my inspiration comes from her. It was a long relationship. It created heartbreak, it created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about."
