Justin Bieber brought a little Christmas cheer to Rio last night.  Yes, we realize that he is two months ahead of schedule, but it's never too early to get into the holiday spirit. The Biebs premiered his new Christmas single 'Mistletoe,' a light, airy holiday song that, as PopDust astutely pointed out, borrows quite a bit from the melody of Jason Mraz's equally light and airy love song 'I'm Yours.'

The Biebs' first Christmas cut has got an almost island vibe, and you can celebrate Christmas anywhere with this number, no matter what the weather or your geographical locale. The song doesn't sound overly Christmas-y, either. It's a bit more universal than we expected.

Even if the melody is a bit familiar, the elfin Beliebers in Rio did not care. They loved the song, screamed as he sang and enjoyed the song as though it were Dec. 24, as if snow was failing in buckets and as if eggnog was being consumed by the quart. The song officially drops on Oct. 18, so this is a first taste and a world premiere. Why do the fans in Rio have all the luck and get to feast on an exclusive Bieb nugget such as this?

You know, to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, we were also quite interested in what The Biebs was wearing. It looked like a bedazzled black sweat suit.
