Justin Bieber is the prince of pop, but can he be the king? The 'Boyfriend' singer made quite an impression when he appeared on 'The Voice' on Tuesday night (April 17) to announce the June 19 release date for 'Believe.' He also confirmed that he will make yet another impression on the show's copious audience by performing on the season finale in three weeks.

Country singer and coach Blake Shelton was quite taken with the Biebs, comparing him to the late, great Elvis Presley. He quickly became a Belieber and came down with a case of Bieber Fever.

"You would have to be living under a damn rock not to know who the kid is and the impact that he is having," Shelton said. He was especially impressed by the reaction the singer got when he appeared on the stage, with tons of girls shrieking their heads off for him. "I never witnessed anything like that, it's got to be similar to what happened with Elvis when he would come walking into a room. People screaming and crying, I literally looked at a group of girls that were in the audience and they were crying!"

Shelton may not have been wringing his hands and gnashing his teeth like a teenage girl, but he gave the Biebs two enthusiastic thumbs up.  "Man I like that kid," he declared. "He came over and shook all of our hands, so he seems to be a really good kid on top of everything else, on top of being extremely hot and talented!"

You are now one of us, Blake.

It's also not lost on us that Presley was one of the most influential performers... ever.
