Justin Bieber Paparazzo Altercation Case Is With District Attorney, Charges TBD
Justin Bieber's very public dustup with a member of the paparazzi in California was a big story when it broke. The Biebs engaged in a scuffle with an snapper and there were rumors that he could see jail time (no!!!!!) while authorities wanted him for questioning about the altercation. The latest development in this case is that it has been handed over to the District Attorney and the charges, if any, are currently TBD.
The L.A. Times reports that L.A. County prosecutors are reviewing the case to determine whether or not criminal charges should be filed against the 'Boyfriend' singer (who was recently seen getting a bit testy with Beliebers at the Toronto airport while waiting for girlfriend Selena Gomez).
Nevertheless, detectives on the pap case are looking into the photog's claims that The Biebs struck him because he was snapping shots of Da Biebs and Gomez at the Commons at Calabasas last month.
You know what this means? It means Beliebers will start associating his girlfriend with outbursts, since these two isolated cases involve her. Don't do it, Beliebers. Sel is not the cause of these events; she's merely part of the action, since, you know, she is The Biebs' woman.
It is not clear when the DA's office will make a decision about bringing about charges. It's also not clear if and what charges the singer, who dropped 'Believe' yesterday, will face. He has yet to publicly comment on the incident.
