Everyone knows 'Silent Night' -- it's one of the most peaceful and representative holiday classics out there. On his new album, Justin Bieber tips a hat to the 1800s Christmas ballad by, well, not messing with it at all.

Bieber offers a mostly innovative take on Christmas with his 'Under the Mistletoe' holiday debut, spinning a modern and fresh twist on tradition -- but every few tracks he does manage to slip in a golden oldie staple like this one.

Backed only by some subtle and selective piano keys, the Biebs lays down his newfound man vocals in a chillingly beautiful way, lending more credit to the song lyrics than himself. The result? The kind of Christmas song that even your grandparents would listen to.

We have to give it up to the 17-year-old, who is notoriously in your face and out there, for letting the true meaning of Christmas guide the way on his rendition of 'Silent Night.' Sometimes, it's not okay to tamper with a good thing, and it seems that Bieber is wise beyond his few years.

'Under the Mistletoe' displays the talents of many featured artists, like Mariah Carey, Usher and Boyz II Men, to name a few -- but tracks like 'Silent Night' prove that the Biebs is skilled enough to stand on his own two feet. The record hits shelves on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
