It's Justin Bieber... in space! The 'All Around the World' singer has signed up to become a part of the maiden Virgin Galactic voyage into space. Justin will certainly not be alone in his foray into space, Virgin's founder Richard Branson tweeted that he'll have the company of a close friend!

Looks like the Biebs is trying to one up his collaborator will.i.am's song premiere on the Mars Rover. Pop music is steadily taking over Earth... and beyond!

The pricetag for a spot on the Virgin Galactic just went up from $200,000 to a whopping $250,000, so it makes sense that mega stars like Bieber, Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio (along with 600 other people) have all put down beaucoup bucks to board this maiden voyage. The program, which has been in development since 2004, is tentatively scheduled to take flight next year.

The Biebs and his fellow famous space cadets will take off 62 miles into the altitude and get to play around in a zero gravity atmosphere and probably snap pictures of the Earth, before returning back to land. We hope it's truly worth the $250,000 -- then again, to them, it's just chump change!
