Justin Bieber has been doing his best to turn his life around. However, it looks like the past is catching up with him. A limousine driver who picked him up in 2013 is suing the "Boyfriend" singer for repeatedly punching him during the trip.

Abdul Mohar, the driver of the limo, is suing Bieber for $850,000 in damages and is also requesting a court order to prevent Bieber from being within 100 meters of the 34-year-old driver, according to court documents that were filed in Toronto on March 27 as reported by the Toronto Star.

On Dec. 30, 2013, Mohar received an Uber notification to pick up six men outside the Time Nightclub in Toronto. According to the driver, Bieber punched him "up to six times in the head" because he didn't turn up the volume of the music. In January 2014, Bieber turned himself in to authorities. However, charges were withdrawn because the prosecutor couldn't establish beyond a reasonable doubt the identity of the individual who assaulted the driver the month before.

Court documents also say that the five men who were with Bieber that night caused "a conspiracy" by protecting him and not cooperating with the police. Mohar also claims the altercation has caused him "too much stress" and has had to go to the hospital twice in order to get treatment after the incident.

While Mohar's lawyer believes this is about "power, money and abuse by Bieber," the singer's lawyer, Brian Greenspan, says the allegations are "totally without merit."

“During the course of the incident, while speaking with the 911 operator, the limousine driver had, in fact, identified his alleged assailant, who was still present, as black," Greenspan told the Toronto Star via email. "After a careful assessment of the evidence, the Crown attorney withdrew the charge.”

There has been no statement of defense from the Bieber camp just yet.
