Justin Bieber vs. Chris Brown – Pop Clash
It was really down to the wire on this one, but Justin Bieber overtook One Direction in our latest Pop Clash poll. At the last second, Beliebers were able to secure their boy’s single ‘All Around the World’ the win over 1D’s ‘Kiss You,’ meaning Bieber is our newest Pop Clash champ! Congrats to Justin and all of the fans who voted!
For his second round of the competition, Justin Bieber will be taking on his buddy Chris Brown. We’re pitting ‘All Around the World,’ Bieber’s latest ‘Believe’ single, versus Chris Brown’s brand-new jam, ‘Fine China.’ So, who will come out on top? It’s up to you, Beliebers and Team Breezy!
‘All Around the World’ is the most club-friendly single that Bieber’s dropped off of ‘Believe.’ The track is a kinetic ball of energy waiting to explode, as the beat builds towards the chorus and awesome electro breakdown. Ludacris also jumps in for a verse, and while his presence reminds us of Bieber’s long-gone ‘Baby’ days, the sexual undertones of the lyrics differ greatly from JB’s younger years: “Baby what you doin’, where you at, where you at? / Why you actin’ so shy? Holdin’ back, holdin’ back / We’re not the only ones doin’ it like that, it like that.“
On the other hand, we’ve got Chris Brown, who, unlike Bieber, is taking a step back from the electro-driven, party jams that he’s been known for these past few years. His new single ‘Fine China,’ off of the upcoming album ‘X,’ is R&B funkiness at its best, as Brown channels his all-time idol, Michael Jackson. The smooth, danceable beat is absolutely infectious, as Breezy croons, “Baby, does he do it for you / When he’s finished, does he step back, and adore you / I just gotta know, cause your time is money / And I wont let him waste it, ooh no no.”
Which song are you feeling more? Justin Bieber’s ‘All Around the World,’ or Chris Brown’s ‘Fine China’? You can vote once per hour below, until the poll closes on April 8 at 3PM ET. Happy listening!

Rules of Pop Clash: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a different challenger the following week. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, they will be retired into the Pop Clash Hall of Fame in order to give others a chance to compete.
