Justin Bieber may have had the "worst birthday," but he wants to clear a few things up about it.

One, it wasn't Jaden Smith's fault, and two, maybe it wasn't so bad after all.

Some back story: Bieber had planned a circus-themed birthday party at London nightclub Cirque Du Soir, but the party ended abruptly after a confrontation between Bieber's entourage and club security. It was reported that Smith, who is only 14 years old, was the reason: the club wouldn't let him in. In a display of admirable loyalty, Bieber left his own party instead of ditching his longtime pal.

However, Bieber is denying that and saying "dummies" -- it's unclear whether he means club personnel or paps -- pushing his beloved Beliebers are the reason he and his group left the hotspot. He took to Instagram to clear everything up:

The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club.. U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don't think so.. 2nd I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak a-- club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out..i said m "worst bday" but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive. Btw it wasn't the worst bday cuz all my friends from back home flew in I was just mad in the moment

Bieber previously thanked his Beliebers for cheering him up after a rough day that included not only nightclub drama, but also Lil Twist getting pulled over in his car on this side of the pond. We're glad it wasn't Biebs' worst birthday -- and we hope he never actually has a worse one to compare this one to!
