Justin Bieber vs. Zayn Malik: Whose New Haircut Do You Like Better?

With both Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik unveiling new haircuts recently, it's basically been heartthrob haircut central up in here. Whose new 'do is your fave?

Justin Bieber certainly spent his sweet time teasing fans about his new hair, but the actual unveiling kind of made it all worth it. JB channeled young Simba a la the "Circle of Life" scene from The Lion King in the big reveal, flaunting hair that looked darker and perhaps shaved on the sides, longer and blonder on top, and slicked back with a neat and deep side part. It's a more mature look for the singer, who previously was rockin' some longer, shaggier locks that he dyed platinum blond. We're loving the clean-cut change -- and we love that it kind of represents a new era of JB.

New direction, new look. Just a few weeks after Zayn Malik crushed dreams everywhere quit One Direction, there he was, sporting an entirely new appearance: Nose ring, shaved head and all. While we've admired all of Zayn's haircuts over the years (let's all reminisce about that one lock of hair casually falling over his eye, shall we?) we actually think that the shaved head look is one of his best. There's no denying that Zayn's long locks should be considered an international treasure, but he looks downright smokin' with the buzz cut. Since he no longer has any hair to hide behind, his face is practically glowing. And don't even get us started on how the shaved head makes his eyes sparkle even more than they did before. Drool.
