UPDATE: Justin Timberlake's publicist tells Billboard that these reports are false, and there is no album in the works. JT is currently filming in Puerto Rico.

OMFG! It's about to get crazy up in this piece! Justin Timberlake is working on new music, people! Finally. After he all but abandoned his music career in favor of movies, JT is back doing what he does best. While he made us laugh with his rom coms and his 'SNL' hosting gigs, his absence from the music world has been excruciating.

U.S. producer Jim Beanz – his resume includes work with Britney Spears and Katy Perry -- revealed the news to Digital Spy. He spilled the "beanz" that Timberlake is working with Timbaland. Beanz will join the Tims later this year. "When I get back to the States, I'm going to be helping out on 'Shock Value 3' with Timbaland and the Justin Timberlake project," Beanz said.

Regarding "the Justin Timberlake project," Beanz said that the music is "still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks." He continued, While I've been over here in the U.K. they've been working, so by the time I get back, they'll have a whole load of ideas and I'm going to have to catch up!"

He finished by saying, "He has some crazy, crazy stuff."

JT getting' all cray cray? We love it. This is the best news we've gotten all month!

Jessica Biel's fiance has not dropped an album since 2006's 'FutureSex/LoveSounds,' which was a critical and commercial juggernaut. He stopped making music at his highest point, which is how many artists like to end their careers, but it sounds like he is ready to dive back in. So many acts (Justin Bieber, Joe Jonas) have been trying to fill the void and to replace him as the smooth, R&B falsetto crooner, a position he willingly vacated.

Beanz also lauded Timberlake's talent, saying, "There are certain artists who can get inside with great charisma and energy and make great music every time. So it's not really about topping the last record, it's more about topping music that comes on the radio. Everything is so similar that it's about topping that and doing something different, and that's what they are going for. He's going to kill it."

That, we do not doubt.

Watch up, pop dudes. JT is coming to reclaim the throne.
