Justin Timberlake may still have no idea if or when he wants to head back into the recording studio, but he seems to be warming up to live performances again. On Wednesday night, he treated a group of lucky fans to a concert at his NYC bar-restaurant Southern Hospitality.

As reported by Billboard, Timberlake was backed up by his proteges, the Memphis five-piece FreeSol, who are signed to JT's record label. They performed for a packed crowd that included celebs like Kim Kardashian and her new hubby Kris Humphries.

Timberlake busted out some of his older solo material, like 'What Goes Around ... Comes Around,' which he introduced by saying, "I did a country song. I just disguised it as something else."

After the show, Timberlake tweeted, "Thanks to everyone who came out to @bbqnyc...amazing night. Now, who's ready to go again @ Irving Plaza?!" As he said a few days earlier on Twitter, Timberlake is playing another NYC show, this time a free concert for the first 500 fans in line at Irving Plaza tonight.

Timberlake recently directed and appeared in the FreeSol video for 'Hoodies On, Hats Low,' and in July he appeared on Jimmy Fallon to deliver 'The History of Rap Part 2.'
