Taylor Swift may be out of the woods, but Justin Timberlake has decided to hang around for awhile — he just announced his brand new album Man of the Woods, set for release on February 2. A new single is also set for release on January 5.

Timberlake, whose last project The 20/20 Experience 1 and 2 dropped in 2013, released a new video Tuesday morning (January 2) that finds him enjoying his own Walden moment as he waxes nostalgic about his native Tennessee. As he speaks, images of fields, snowy pastures and, naturally, trees, appear on screen.

"This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've written, where I'm from," Timberlake says below as fires rage and wild horses sprint across a wild expanse.

Timberlake told The Hollywood Reporter in February that his fifth LP will nod to his Tennessee roots and be more a product of his innate self than anything that's preceded it.

"It sounds more like where I've come from than any other music I've ever made," he said. "It's Memphis. It's Southern American music. But I want to make it sound modern — at least that's the idea right now."

Timberlake will perform at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show just two days after the release of Man of the Woods. The show will air from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota on Sunday, February 4.
