Less than a month after releasing his comeback single 'Suit & Tie,' Justin Timberlake is already back at the Grammy Awards. The Recording Academy announced in a press release that the pop superstar will perform at the 2013 Grammy ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 10.

The announcement is somewhat surprising in that Timberlake isn't nominated and will be there purely to promote his upcoming album 'The 20/20 Experience.' Grammy producers surely know having the singer on the lineup will boost ratings as viewers tune in to catch JT's first televised performance since his comeback.

We assume Timberlake will sing 'Suit & Tie,' but he may want to use the opportunity to preview other material from the new album. JT will also perform the night before the Super Bowl at a private gig for a select group of invited fans and friends.

Timberlake last performed at the Grammys in 2009, when he joined legendary soul singer Al Green for a performance of 'Let's Stay Together.' That collaboration came together at the very last minute, when Rihanna and Chris Brown both canceled their performances just a few hours before the broadcast after their infamous domestic abuse incident.

Justin joins an impressive group of previously announced performers for the 2013 Grammys, including Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Fun., Carrie Underwood and more.
