Looks like Justin Timberlake is reportedly up for another big-screen role, and could star as Larry from 'The Three Stooges' in a movie about the comedy trio's life set to be directed by the Farrelly Brothers.

According to the Boston Herald, the sibling directing team, who previously brought you 'There's Something About Mary' and 'Fever Pitch,' are set to choose their Stooges in the next few weeks from a group of candidates that also includes Will Sasso, Johnny Knoxville, and Woody Harrelson.

So, at some point do we start referring to Timberlake as a former pop star? Between his heavily praised work in last year's 'Social Network,' upcoming movies such as 'Bad Teacher' and 'Friends with Benefits,' and now this possible casting, it might be a while before we get a third solo album out of Timberlake.

In the meantime, the Farrelly Brothers' current movie, 'Hall Pass,' starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis, opens in theaters nationwide this weekend.
