Kanye West made a surprise appearance on BET's 106 & Park on Monday (April 10) to support his Def Jam labelmate 2 Chainz, who was the show's special guest. 'Ye was looking very stylish in his new Air Yeezy kicks and leopard-printed jacket, which might irk the folks at PETA. Unfortunately, he didn't say a word and just let 2 Chainz do the talking.

2 Chainz -- who was rocking a jacket emblazoned with a cheetah's face on it -- talked about his contribution on the G.O.O.D. Music song 'Mercy' and had nothing but high praise for Yeezy. "I feel like Kanye is the best producer in the world," he said. "The way that he sees things is just different from anyone else, so it's just an honor, it's a pleasure to be in the studio with him at the same time and just kinda clashing worlds. My resume is filled with street credibility music, trap rap, and he kind of brings color and images to what I'm doing, so he'll definitely be a part of my project."

The Atlanta rapper's next project is his debut solo album 'Based on a T.R.U. Story' (due Aug. 14), which Kanye will provide music for. "'Ye will be the biggest part of my album," Chainz says. "I'm very comfortable having creative control and so with him, I will ask his opinion or offer him a chance to do some post production on some things that I think is trapped out, so he can add his vision to it."

When asked how he's been able to stay in everyone's ear, 2 Chainz simply credits his persistence. "I work hard and I pray even harder," he says of his grind. "I tried to be consistent. It's about your hungriness for it. I feel like I've been hungry for it since day one and I'ma be out here for a minute."

As to why Kanye was silent during the entire interview, we can only guess that he wants the music to speak for itself.
