Hot on the heels of his 2011 release with Jay-Z, 'Watch the Throne,' Kanye West is already set to drop a new album in 2012. West is the owner of the G.O.O.D. Music label, and the rapper has recruited his label mates for a brand-new compilation album, which is being tentatively referred to as 'G.O.O.D. Music.'

Kanye West is expected to drop his new album in Spring 2012, and he even previewed some of the tracks during his 2011 Christmas party in London. Along with Yeezy's fine-tuned rhymes, the album will also contain guest spots from G.O.O.D. Music artists such as Big Sean, Kid Cudi, plus many more. Big Sean actually let some of the 'G.O.O.D. Music' album collabos slip during an interview with MTV on the set of his 'Slight Work' video. After saying that the album was "almost done," Big Sean continued, "So, me, Kanye, [Kid] Cudi, CyHi [Da Prynce], John Legend, Common, Pusha T, everybody on G.O.O.D., Mr Hudson. We’re all working on a new project; it’s almost done. We’re going to London to finish it up and do the last part of it and working on my album at the same time with 'Ye and everybody."

Along with his G.O.O.D. music cronies, Yeezy brought on 'N----as in Paris' producer Hit-Boy to help out with his upcoming album. The studio guru opened up about the recording process, saying, "It’s going to be G.O.O.D. Music-esque, which is great music ... We actually already started a couple of ideas for that, just bouncing around stuff. I just sent 'Ye like 12 beats the other day. He hit me like, 'I need joints.' So we’re just going in." Hit-Boy went on to say that some of the tracks that were cut from 'Watch the Throne' may appear on the 2012 album. "We made a lot of music around the time we were working on ‘Watch the Throne,’ so joints will end up where they’re supposed to," he said.

There's no word on an exact release date for the G.O.O.D. Music album or an official album name as of yet, but the album should impact within the next few months. Some of the other acts signed to Yeezy's G.O.O.D. (which stands for 'Getting Out Our Dreams') Music label are Yeezy's 'Monster' / 'Lost in the World' collaborators and indie group Bon Iver, rapper Mos Def, and lesser known artist like up-and-coming hip-hop artist Teyana Taylor and Nigerian singer-songwriter / harmonica prodigy D'banj. We'll just have to wait and see if any of these artists will make it onto the G.O.O.D. Music album.

Stay tuned for more updates on the new Kanye West album for 2012.
