Kanye West, Person With Virtually No Hair, Maybe Spends $500 on Daily Haircuts

Consider this permission to feel less guilty about an occasional Starbucks splurge.

Kanye West, a rapper and human being with virtually no hair, maybe spends $500 on haircuts. And maybe he gets those haircuts daily, if Rihanna's father, a person with eyes who has seen Kanye West's hair, is correct.

Ronald Fenty told heat that he noticed West's pricey routine in 2010, when the rapper was on tour with Rihanna. For context, $500 for a haircut a day is $15,000 a month, $182,500 or a single coin in Scrooge McDuck's vault.

"It’s crazy—he pays his barber $500 a time," Fenty siad. "I don’t understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look."

And he loves his fresh look so much, in fact, that he once pressured his preferred barber to uproot himself from Chicago and follow West across the country.

"He asked me to move to New York City and I told him, ‘When you can pay me what I make in my shop, I’ll move,'" Ibn Jasper told the magazine.

Still, considering Kanye's tour rider, we can't say we're entirely surprised. According to TMZ, the rapper requests 13 bottles of liquor that total $3,200, black towels and especially minty floss at each stop—that's in addition to a plentiful supply of Kashi Go Lean and notice that each of his hotel rooms' vases must be exclusively cylindrical.
