Kanye West will ring in the New Year with a new moniker: Yeezy World Peace. The Chicago-bred half of the Throne will DJ at the grand opening of 1OAK Las Vegas tonight under the silly pseudonym.

PEOPLE reports that the Grammy nominee scored the gig after a Twitter campaign to DJ this New Year's Eve. "I kinda wanna DJ somewhere this New Years," he tweeted on Dec. 27. The following day, West expounded on his ambitions -- as well as his demands. "My New Years DJ name is gone be YEEZY WORLD PEACE! If you book me you have to put YEEZY WORLD PEACE on the E-vite. Or I ain't spinning," he posted, later adding, "Ima need a stealth bomber and 2 bottled waters #YEEZYWORLDPEACE'SRIDER." It's certainly cheaper than what he charges to perform at a Sweet 16 party. This will be West's second DJ gig in as many weeks. Last week he spun a holiday party at Le Baron in London, where fans speculated that he debuted a new track with Rihanna (he didn't!).

It looks like the new Las Vegas night club at least had the bottled H2O handy, but we're not sure how they nabbed the stealth bomber. Joining West will be his 'All of the Lights' collaborator Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel. Fergie's having a busy New Year's Eve -- she's also covering the Los Angeles portion of Dick Clark's 'New Year's Rockin' Eve' special.

West will have a productive 2012. In addition to his DJ hobby, he's also working on his clothing line in London and gearing up to release his G.O.O.D Music compilation. Let's just hope Yeezy makes a resolution to get over his fear of business cards.
