If you're looking for someone to tell you how it is, Kanye West is your man. So when he was invited to speak to the graduating students of Los Angeles Trade Technical College on Friday (May 29), he, of course, give them a piece of his mind.

"When you're the absolute best, you get hated on the most," Yeezus told the 2015 graduating class in his speech, which you watch above.

He also added, "It's a tough world out there. You're going to prepare yourself for politics, bad bosses, hating employees, and usually when you're the absolute best, you get hated on the most."

Aside from speaking to the college seniors, he also say the students' final runway show as well as reportedly hung out backstage to give the young designers some encouragement, TMZ reported.

If you're wondering why Kanye spoke at this particular college, he has a little history with it. After assaulting a photographer in July 2013, Kanye was sentenced to court-mandated community service. And to fulfill this, he taught a fashion class at the school.

And we're sure he was happy to see his old students again, especially the ones who graduated on Friday evening.
