While Kanye West was performing on his Watch the Throne tour overseas, thieves broke into his home in Los Angeles. According to LA Weekly, LAPD has confirmed that burglars targeted West's residence early this morning (June 13).

Apparently, someone from West's camp reported the burglary to police. No word on if any valuables were removed from the home. Police office Bruce Borihahan stated that the housebreaking occurred around 6:30AM PT. "The owner wasn't home at the time, and it is unknown if any property was taken," he said.

LA Weekly reports that West doesn't spend much time on the property, which boasts scenic views of the Hollywood Hills. He tried to sell it for $4 million last year, but didn't have any takers.

Nevertheless, this is terrible news for the West who has had a great year so far with his G.O.OD. Music compilation on the horizon and his relationship blooming with Kim Kardashian.

We hope that West's home is secured and the police catch those pesky robbers.
