Kanye West has been officially added to the lineup of artists that will perform at the 2015 Grammy Awards. This wouldn't be too surprising or warranting headlines if it weren't for the fact that this marks the first time Kanye will be attending the Grammys in six years.

According to US Weekly, Kanye is set to perform twice during the show, including once with Paul McCartney and Rihanna, which we're assuming may be the live premiere of their guitar-driven collaboration 'FourFiveSeconds.'

Kanye is, reportedly, not a huge fan of the awards show and his reasoning for not attending the Grammys comes from a personal decision and has nothing to do with scheduling conflicts. During a show in London in Feb. 2013 he mentioned the show, along with the music industry as a whole, expressing his discontentment with them, saying, "I hate business people. People get on the phone with me and tell me: 'What kind of business can you do, though? What type of business are you doing? What's the numbers? How much did you sell? What's the radio spins? How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and s---?'"

He went on to say, "Remind me again why we in this s---. Can you remind me again why we in this s---? Since when [is] making music about getting rich? Since when [is] making art about getting rich?... Remind me again why we in this s---. Remind me again why the Grammys couldn't suck my d---."

The last time Kanye attended the Grammys was in 2009 -- where he also performed twice -- so we're excited to see what he has in store for us this year. What do you guys think? Stoked to see Kanye return to the Grammys stage? Let us know!
