It is a well-known fact that Kanye West has a great appreciation for fashion. The rapper is always at runway shows and he has even collaborated with renowned designer Louis Vuitton to create a hybrid pair of Ye/Louis V sneakers.

According to Nowness, West is starting off on another fashion venture, and this time around, it a lot less gangster than producing a pair of fly kicks. The rapper will release a line of silk scarves inspired by the album artwork on his 'My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy' album.

The rapper has recruited designers from the Parisian brand M/M in order to help with the design of the scarves. Designers Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag will use the album's liner notes (which will be done in Baroque style lettering) in combination with the different pieces of artwork that appear on the album's cover for the pattern of the scarves.

The various pieces of shocking and risque cover art for 'My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy' were created by American artist George Condo, and include images such as "as a severed head wearing a crown and a naked sphinx straddling a likeness of West."

The scarves will be released for sale sometime this spring, but you can get a sneak peek of what they will look like in the picture below. Only 250 will be produced -- 50 of each of the five different designs -- and they will be available for purchase at Collette and at M/M's official website.

Both Augustyniak and Amzalag have worked with outlandish artists like Bjork in the past, and they called working with West "a complex exploration of power." Well said, boys.
