Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy may have called it quits last year, but the two are on good terms and consider themselves family.

“We’re family for the rest of our lives, we have a beautiful baby and we love making wine,” Hudson told Wine Enthusiast. “We’ll continue doing it.”

The Golden Globe winning actress and the Muse frontman have been co-parenting their 3-year-old son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, and, thanks to their caring relationship, have built a nice foundation for Bingham. Since the breakup, the onetime couple has been spotted grocery shopping together, dining out with their song and even going on vacation.

The connections don't stop there. The two are also currently co-own a vineyard called Hudson Bellamy Wines, located in California. After Hudson's step-dad, actor Kurt Russell, introduced them to the art of making wine, they were instantly hooked.

Hudson and Bellamy officially announced the end of their relationship last November after rumors that the two had been separated for some time. “Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now,” Hudson’s rep told PEOPLE. “Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.”

How refreshing to see exes not only play nice in front of their children, but be able to get along on their own terms. More power to them!
