Seat belts, everyone! Saturday Night Live delight Kate McKinnon is confirmed to provide the voice for Ms. Frizzle in the forthcoming CGI reboot of The Magic School Bus, PEOPLE reveals.

The Ghostbusters actress will star in the upcoming revival titled The Magic School Bus Rides Again, taking over for Lily Tomlin, who provided the animated teacher's voice during the show's run on PBS from 1994 to 1997.

However, McKinnon will technically be playing a different character, as she'll voice Fiona Frizzle, the sister of the original series' quirky Valerie Frizzle.

Based on the Scholastic book series of the same name by authors Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, The Magic School Bus follows the adventures of Ms. Frizzle and her students as they embark on wild, magical field trips in their enchanted school bus, which can transform into a plane, surfboard, submarine, spaceship and more.

The Magic School Bus Rides Again is due out in 2017.
