After releasing her first single in three years, "Lick My Lips," Katharine McPhee is finally giving our eyes a treat with the cover of her upcoming album, Hysteria.

First revealed during an interview with The Talk on CBS on July 15, the American Idol finalist — as well as former SMASH and current Scorpion star — lays casually on her stomach with her head facing the camera with another image of Katharine's face superimposed on the simply designed cover.

Hysteria is set to be released on September 18 via LilyDog Entertainment and eOne, and will be her first studio album since her 2010 holiday record, Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You.

Before revealing the look of the album, Katharine released the video for her single, "Lick My Lips," which she co-wrote with Florence & the Machine’s Isabella Machine. Aside from working with Isabella, the singer and actress also collaborated with Sia. "I loved working with Sia. I got in with her when she first started wanting to write with pop artists," she told Entertainment Weekly.

You can see Katharine talk more about her new album, which she co-wrote entirely, on The Talk below.
