Katy Perry is currently in the U.K. on her California Dreams tour, but the pop star recently made a pit stop at 'The X Factor' to perform her latest single, 'The One That Got Away.'

Sporting her pink 'do, Perry graced the U.K. crowd with an acoustic version of her reflective 'Teenage Dream' song at the live results show. The multi-talented singer strummed a six-string throughout the performance, while metallic broken hearts decorated the backdrop.

Last week on her overseas run, Perry treated fans to a mashup of 'The One That Got Away' and Adele's 'Someone Like You' during her performance at Sheffield Arena. Her latest release is the sixth single from her 2010 album, following 'California Gurls,' 'Firework,' 'E.T.,' 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' and the title track of her latest LP.

“I think that everyone can relate to this song," she said in a press release about the tune. "I wrote this song about when you promise someone forever, but you end up not being able to follow through. It’s a bittersweet story — hopefully, the listener learns from hearing it and never has to say they had ‘The One’ get away."

Perry will continue her U.K. run through November, ending with a three-night stint at the SECC in Glasgow.
