Out of the darkness of space comes Katy Perry's new 'E.T.' video, featuring a suspended-in-air (or lack thereof) Kanye West.

This gravity-free video pinpoints the 'Teenage Dream' singer as the center of the universe, with her piercing ice-blue eyes as sparkling as stars. As she floats through space, she gets colder -- and whiter -- by the minute as she searches for the alien lover she sings about. She soon finds her robot love laying lifeless on an unnamed planet -- the 60-second video teaser we unleashed earlier today left us at this point, alone and wondering what would come of Perry's metal sweetheart.

We can all share a collective sigh of relief -- Kanye raps the robot into human/alien form and he comes back to life, taking our starlet by the hand into the sunset. But suddenly, alien Katy's flowy dress blows away, and it's then revealed that she's standing on a pair of deer hind legs.

Perry's creepy space debut video has it all -- a singing alien, abandoned planets, great costumes, and animal mating footage too X-rated for Animal Planet -- making it the weirdest, yet most innovative, video to debut in 2011.

The video landed a bit earlier than anticipated -- it is set to 'premiere' on MTV later tonight. But as expected, it's simply out of this world.
