Katy Perry Rocks Out for President Obama in Milwaukee
Katy Perry performed for a crowd of 20,000 supporters of incumbent President Barack Obama on Saturday night (Nov. 3).
Perry sported another of her trademark rubber dresses, this time with Obama's 'Forward' slogan emblazoned across a blue background. She hit the stage at the Delta Center and urged attendees to support survivors of Hurricane Sandy. “Let’s send them some love today," Perry said earnestly. "We care about America, don’t we? We care about our people. We’re a huge family, a huge family.”
Of course, the point of the event was to encourage voters to support Obama's reelection this Tuesday (Nov. 6). "My grandma is 91 she can barely walk and took herself to the polls," Perry said. "If you're over 18, and you have a real cool outfit and you wear it on Tuesday, you tweet me and I'll retweet it!" Well, if that's not an incentive to rock the vote, we don't know what is!
This is only the most recent reelection campaign event that Perry hit in support of the current P.O.T.U.S. The 'Wide Awake' singer hit up another event sporting a rubber ballot dress two weeks ago and rocked a patriotic mani to another campaign event last month.
