Katy Perry allegedly showed support for Taylor Swift amid Swift's issues with Scooter Braun by appearing to sign a fan petition for Swift to reclaim the six albums she no longer has the rights to.

A fan created a Change.org petition for Swift to re-record and re-release her first six studio albums. An account signed "Katy Perry" co-signed the petition and wrote, “I stand with Taylor. Stay strong my friend.” The petition now has over 100,000 signatures.

Aside from allegedly signing the petition, Perry also reportedly unfollowed Braun from her personal social media accounts.

Rihanna, Adele, Camila Cabello, Charli XCX and Miley Cyrus have also reportedly unfollowed Braun from their personal accounts, while countless celebrities have reacted to Swift’s lack of rights to own her own music on social media. Halsey was one of the first celebrities to come to Swift's defense, writing a letter on how Swift inspires her.

Perry and Swift recently and finally reconciled their differences after the pair had suffered a longstanding reported feud over the use of tour background dancers. Perry and Swift were seen together for the first time in Swift’s music video for “You Need To Calm Down," in which the two women dressed as a matching pair: a hamburger and French fries.

On Sunday (June 30), it was announced that Swift’s former record label, Big Machine, was purchased by Scooter Braun’s company Ithaca Holdings. Swift responded to the news by releasing a statement in the form of a personal letter on Tumblr, in which she referred to Braun as a “bully” and shared her frustration regarding the loss of her music rights.
