Katy Perry's current single, the ode to young love lost known as 'The One That Got Away,' has been given the remix treatment. The remix version features an assist from rapper B.o.B and other than two verses dropped in at the beginning and ending portions of the song, not much is different. Essentially, B.o.B sprinkles the song with a few rhymes, giving it a little more of an urban edge.

In B.o.B's opening verse, the Atlanta-born rapper tosses off lines about losing touch with his lady love after she goes to college and then changes her number. Albeit heartbreaking, the 'Airplanes' hitmaker deals with the fact that sometimes people grow apart, even when they don't want to.

Perry is aiming to push this single to No. 1 so she can notch the record for most No. 1 singles from an album. With 'The One That Got Away' camped out at No. 4, this remix could be the shot in the arm the song needs to nudge everything out of its way and grab the Numero Uno crown. Could this remix send Perry into the radio chart history books? We wish you the best of luck, Katy!
