Kelly Clarkson – Off the Grid Stars

Kelly Clarkson is just not an L.A. girl! Despite her fame, she's chosen to stay in two smaller cities — first Mansfield, Texas, just a short drive from where she grew up, and now Nashville, Tenn.

Clarkson's recently listed 14 acres of her Mansfield ranch property for sale, but there's no confirmation that the house has been sold yet.

Meanwhile, the first 'American Idol' winner scooped up a new place in Nashville. She said, "It’s like Texas, but I can get work done as well. Everybody’s kind of the same speed as Texans, and everybody’s really nice and welcoming.”

Clarkson has dueted with country stars Jason Aldean and Reba McEntire, so it's no surprise she'd want a home in the heart of the country music industry... especially now that she's set to wed Blake Shelton's manager, Brandon Blackstock (who also happens to be Reba's stepson).
