Not a football fan? No worries! This year's Super Bowl has something for everyone, including a performance by Kelly Clarkson!

While we don't yet know who will be playing at the biggest game day in the NFL, we do know that Kelly will do the honors of laying down the National Anthem in Indianapolis. The good news was confirmed by the AP, who spoke with a source close to the entertainment planning committee.

The first-ever 'American Idol' winner must really have developed an 'in' with NBC to snag this gig -- it was just recently made public that she will serve as a mentor to Blake Shelton's contestants on the singing competition, 'The Voice,' which premieres following the bowl. So, despite the fact that Madonna is scheduled to blow audiences away at this year's halftime show, Feb. 5 is really Kelly's day!

Just a week later, on Feb. 12, the 'Since U Been Gone' hitmaker will join Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and more to perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards. If she keeps up this pattern, 2012 may quickly become the year of the Kelly.
